RIM (Research In Motion) and Verizon Wireless have jointly launched their newest 3G-based BlackBerry Smartphone BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230, which comes built-in with a variety of multimedia capabilities.
High-speed connectivity of its broadband network offers its users fast messaging and emailing. Along with a stylish flip design, the handset has silver and is integrated with a microSD and SDHC memory slot, which is expandable up to 16GB. A microSD card can separately be acquired for video recording.
In addition, it has two hi-resolution color displays with the external LCD, which lets its users read without sprinting the handset. Its Visual Voice Mail can be used for messages management. Plus, the phone has trouble-free typing and dialing, which makes use of the large SureType QWERTY keyboard. It also boasts of speakerphone and video-activated dialing capabilities.
The phone is also built-in with media player for audio and video support. It entertains with the BlackBerry Media Sync; which allows its users to manage music easily by the use of the handset.
The cell phone also boasts of supporting BlackBerry App World that you can make use of to access social networking sites such as MySpace, Facebook and Flicker. The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 smartphone will be sold for $129.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate with a new 2-year customer agreement. The phone is scheduled to be introduced from June 19, 2009 onwards via the Verizon Wireless Communications Store.
VZ Navigator will be sold for $9.99 while the Visual Voice Mail is expected to come with $2.99.
