Since Zune HD has come in view, the rumors are revolving around it. Earlier Amazon leaked out its pricing details, and now Nvidia says that its Tegra processor will support Microsoft’s upcoming PMP. The processor will let the players enjoy superb multimedia capabilities. So, the Zune HD is the best portable digital media player and it is a must-have device for the music lovers.

The Zune HD will also feature lots of HD specs like HD-compatible video, full-screen Internet browsing, HD Radio receiver, OLED touchscreen and Wi-Fi in a single player. In addition, the Tegra processor will also give an outstanding battery life. read more…

Zune HD vs iPod Touch 2g

Apple, almost 2-years after, wrapped off with their iPod Touch device, Microsoft is all set to roll out their Zune HD into the mix. To my surprise, it comes with a few striking specifications, and this arrival from the arsenal of an iPhone fanboy.

So let’s get to know about its glaring specs.

Screen: The latest Zune HD comes included with OLED Screen, whereas iPod Touch’s X-gen makes use of LCD. Quite anew to the mobile market, OLED boasts of less power usage for a longer battery life. I may have to provide the screen technology and maybe even the battery life to Microsoft’s Zune HD. Microsoft’s Zune HD slated to land on September 5?

In my prior post, there was no word on Microsoft’s much-whispered Zune HD’s pricing details, but it was hinted at the same time the product will be rolled out in fall. However, now the Redmond-based giant has confirmed the launch of its much-rumored Zune HD. A Microsoft Guru – Paul Thurrott, on Zune Forum, is reported to have said that the Zune HD is slated to be shipped on September 5, 2009.

I don’t know how Paul got hinted for this secretive release date as no official announcement has been made by the company. read more…

Microsoft intros Zune HD with OLED touchscreen

Microsoft has launched the most-rumored protable music player, Zune HD. The tech-giant has also increased the Zune video services to the Xbox LIVE subscribers with Zune HD.

The Zune HD, an enhanced and advanced version of the Zune devices, claims to provide a premium listening and viewing experience. The device has a HD Radio receiver,allowing users augmented quality of sound and extra programs. The PMP (portable media player) will be introduced in the US market during this fall. read more…
