The Zune HD, an enhanced and advanced version of the Zune devices, claims to provide a premium listening and viewing experience. The device has a HD Radio receiver,allowing users augmented quality of sound and extra programs. The PMP (portable media player) will be introduced in the US market during this fall.

Offering on Microsoft’s hooked entertainment vision, this news comes like a decisive moment for Zune as it brags of brining best video content and cross-platform experiences to living rooms worldwide.”

Zune HD’s OLED touchscreen lets users navigate through the contents easily. The screen has resolution of 480 x 272 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. The Zune HD also has high-def video output system, allowing users to connect with the media player through a best HDMI audiovisual docking station direct to an HD TV. You separately need to purchase this docking wire .

The media player will also have Internet browser, designed specifically for multi-touch functionality. This Wi-Fi-based player also allows instant streaming of tracks from the Zune music store.

There is no word as to the pricing details of the much-awaited Microsoft Zune HD.
