Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX1 is company’s first camera to sport ’sweep panorama’ which is capable of capturing 224 degree panorama shots. Unveiled in March 09, the new addition to the Cyber shot series is a compact ’super zoom’ model, which revolves around newly- created hi-speed 9mp ‘Exmor’ CMOS sensor.
The main feature of the Cyber-shot DSC-HX1 is its using a CMOS sensor, which works better than a CCD censor utilized in the majority of models. Up till now, only the top-of-the-line DSLR cameras used to utilize a CMOS sensor. More >
Nikon D3000 and D300s images surfaced around the Internet

Engadget in its blog talks of the images of the Nikon D300 and D3000s surfaced around the globe. Claimed to be a scaled down version of the D5000, the D3000 comes built-in with a 2.7-inch LCD display screen.
The new camera is also claimed to be built-in with 12.3 mp CMOS sensor, face detection technology, Expeed image processing system, and Scene Recognition system with Active D-lightning. More >
