Though prior the handheld device used to support Windows CE 5.0., customers can operate both the CE 5.0 and Windows Mobile 6.1 in the rugged device.

Introducing the latest version of MX8, Steve Newell, GM of LXE intensely says that the MX8 handheld computer supported by Windows Mobile allows LXE to provide its customers new apps and programs. The upgraded version will cater the demands of the retail and pharmaceutical markets thanks to its size, elegant design and voice-enabled apps.
The MX8 will greatly help the customers who work on multi-modal voice and scan-intensive apps. The MX8 handheld computer has two keyboard options. These are numeric triple-tap alpha and alpha-mode numeric. It is also featured with backlit keys and a 2.8-inch QVGA TFT color LCD display. The handheld device boasts of giving support to 802.11 b/g, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR radio.

Talking about its scanning attributes, the handheld PC lets customers make access to standard range laser scanner and 1D and 2D imagers.

Measured just7.6″x 2.8″x 1.8″ and weighed up to 377gram, the MX8 handheld computer device gets its power from ToughTalk technology, which users can use to get high quality audio as it supports to latest audio circuitry and noise-canceling techniques for multiple voice logistic applications.
