In my prior post, there was no word on Microsoft’s much-whispered Zune HD’s pricing details, but it was hinted at the same time the product will be rolled out in fall. However, now the Redmond-based giant has confirmed the launch of its much-rumored Zune HD. A Microsoft Guru – Paul Thurrott, on Zune Forum, is reported to have said that the Zune HD is slated to be shipped on September 5, 2009.
I don’t know how Paul got hinted for this secretive release date as no official announcement has been made by the company.
The buzz around the tech-world hints that the company may pre-pone the plan to introduce the much-awaited media player. So, possibly, it’s good news for the consumers who are in quest of the device to hit the shelves – pre-fall relates to the assumed availability period of the shipment. Even there is no word as to its pricing.
Let’s keep aside the indefinite details and note down the definite ones. The Zune HD comes featured with a 3.3-inch OLED touchscreen and gives support to Wi-Fi and HD Radio. Users can use it to play 720p HD video with the help of a docking station accessory.
Plus, I will let you know of its official availability details as and when it comes.
